Owner and Director of Ballet Elite is a retired professional Ballet dancer who was a member and soloist with the Central Connecticut Ballet Company in Connecticut USA, the Westchester Ballet in NY, USA and the Scottish-American Ballet in Edinburgh, Scotland to name a few.  Ms. Ryan began training in the Vaganova method from the age of five, at many prestigious Ballet schools including the Darvash Styudios in NY, NY, USA, under Madame Gabriella Darvash. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Theatre & Dance from the University of Wyoming, USA.  Ms. Ryan was a professional Ballet Mistress for the Univerity of Wyoming Dance Tour Company.  She performed with many other dance companies and has taught dance all over the United States.  Ms. Ryan is an accomplished and award winning Choreographer in many forms of dance.  She most recently was the Owner/Artistic Director of the Hamilton Academy of Dance & Hamilton Ballet in Chattanooga, TN, USA for eight years.

                             Vaganova Method

The Russian dancer and pedagogue Agrippina Vaganova (1879 - 1951) designed a ballet training method that incorporated Russian Ballet technique, traditional French Ballet technique from the romantic era, and elements of Italian ballet technique.  The core of the technique was endurance, strength and flexibility.  the method encompassed cross-training of ballet, pointe, modern, character (folk) and calisthenics/strengthening.  Students studied music, dance history, choreography and pedagogy.  This well rounded course of study provided opportunities for dancers in performance, choreography and teaching technique.
